Baltic Breeze

We’re back! My good friend Henrik Hansen and I have once again done an excursion together. This is the 4th time that we publish something from our trips.

Two days ago we drove a station wagon into the beautiful fields of Österlen in the province of Scania. I had lots of new experiences and I realized that Österlen is a very beautiful part of Sweden. We had breaks at Smygehuk (Sweden’s southernmost point), beaches, Ale’s Stones (megalithic monument), Simrishamn (coastal town), Stenshuvud National Park as well as many other places (unknown to us).

Definitely North East

Today, it was the third time and it’s becoming a tradition for me and my good friend Henrik Hansen to explore places close to our roots that we’ve never seen before. We drove around in North Eastern Skåne, all together about 300 kilometers. The highlight on our trip was the visit to Wanås Castle and its forest, where we witnessed a great contemporary art exhibition. It kind of blew our minds away and made us scared. It’s worth a visit.

Borderline Safari – Halland & Småland, Sweden

Yesterday, my good friend Henrik Hansen and I went out on a safari in the area next to the borderline between the two provinces of Halland and Småland. Both of us had practically never been to this area before. So, we went out on an adventure, which turned out to be a lot of fun (due to many reasons).

Kathmandu, Nepal

Late last month my friend Prabesh brought me along to an event held in GATE (Global Academy of Tourism & Hospitality Education). It was a program, which contained all types of people from travel agents, hotels, other celebrities etc. I had a great time that evening, I spoke to lots of different people. We were served drinks and snacks. The whole evening one of the Nepalese TV channels were there and filmed, and it was broadcasted the following week. I was on Nepali TV.

Since the last time I wrote I have had fresh litchi fruit from India a couple of times and it has become a new favorite fruit of mine. It’s so juicy and sweet. Hehe.

Yesterday, around lunchtime, I and my colleagues went outside of Kathmandu to a place called Sakhu, where we had been invited to the opening ceremony of the non-governmental organization PA Nepal’s new children’s home and school. It took about an hour to get there by taxi. The environment out there was really nice, peaceful and inspiring. It’s a great place for children to stay and learn. We stayed there for about two hours and got a short tour of the place by Indira Rana (chairperson of PA Nepal), met with various people, children etc. We were also served some snacks. I had a really nice time and it was nice to get outside of Kathmandu.
