Hei Per:D!

Godt nyttår...(litt seint, men bedre seint enn aldri).

Her går alt sin vante gang.

keep up the good work....du passer perfekt til sånt arbeid! Ikkje glöm kor flink du er:)!

Stor klem fra Sandra og våte Norge!!

My dear son,
As always, your diaries are very touching. To cane anybody during our decade 2000, there is no word or defence. I hope thou, that I will not attend this situation when I visit you. To cane anybody is just an evidence of how bad and subdued the people are, those who are canning. You also wrote how chaotic it was when Mumin and his two cousins were visiting you over the week-end. As a mother I smiled, but noted that this experience was a very quite company comparing to yourself and your friends. You were playing floorball in the kitchen, playing cowboys and indians everywhere inside the house, building fortresses, castles and buildings with a.o. furniture, blankets and sheets. Practising skiing on the carptes and had a ski helmet on your head in case you would speed up. Playing in different music-groups, with your gitarr and ukuele + having the mic in your hand, when you were singing without any inhibitation. Around the age of ten years you also played cynt. The only time you were quiet were when I was testing the home work + when you were looking at the dancing-lessons in Sunday mornings + in meantime looked at "Simon Temple" and enjoyed his stories with different girls and they were drinking wine in the bed. Cozy you thought! All this is so far away from your life now. However I am very happy to be able to see you on February 24th and be around you for about a month. More stories about this will follow. This week-end I am at Jerry's place. Here is about 20 cm snow and -11 degrees. At your place in Kumasi it is + 35 degrees C, so there is some difference in weather.

I look very much forward to come and see you and your friends in Kumasi. As always, take care and be strong.

Lots of love and hugs,
Puss och kram

Hej Per!

Hi Per!

I'm sad to hear about the caning. But in a way, I'm not surprised, because of different cultures and so on. Hopefully, they will stop using those methods soon. I believe you and your organization can serve as a model, and that things can change. Nicer to hear about is Mumin and his crew! They seem to have lots of energy and reading about all the children with all their joy keeps a smile on my face. It's nice, that in a place with so much misery, there is still place for happiness somewhere. What can I tell from back home? We are not being caned in school, but we have to study real hard though. The winter came today and we have -7 degrees celcius with snow and everything.
